Sandymount Green is the heart of Sandymount. It is a much loved and used by young and old alike. The Sandymount Tidy Towns Community Association (STTCA) carriers out a huge amount of care and maintenance in and around the Green and ensures it is neat, tidy and litter free for the enjoyment of the community and visitors. It does however require upgrading such as seating, paths and the area around the substation.
The STTCA has proposed the addition of suitable seating in the Geen which is sympathetic to the environment such as the example below.
